Agriculture dept lifts ban on poultry from Turkey
THE DEPARTMENT of Agriculture has lifted the ban on the importation of poultry products from Turkey following the latters report to the World Organization for Animal Health (Office International des Epizooties, or OIE) that it is free from the highly pathogenic H5N1 bird flu strain.
