China Steps Up Poultry Monitoring on Bird Flu Death (Update1) (Bloomberg)
Jan. 19 (Bloomberg) -- China is stepping up monitoring of the sale and transport of live poultry in the run-up to the Lunar New Year holiday after a second person died from bird flu this month and a two-year-old girl was diagnosed with the virus.
