Expired bird flu drugs dumped (TVNZ)
Pharmac has signed a new contract to spend nearly $5 million stocking up on antibiotics in case of a deadly bird flu epidemic. But figures released by National show about $1 million worth of the same drugs have been dumped because they have passed their use-by date.
